贝多芬《庄严弥撒曲》三月东马巡回音乐会

民都鲁华人基督教圣乐促进会与（诗巫）基拿尼雅圣乐社携手合作，通过各类培训营和演出活动提升本区域的圣乐水平，不遗余力地推动和培养本地区的圣乐事工近二十载。特别是三年一度的【经典圣乐巡回音乐会】更是东马独有的教会音乐盛事。

2024年三月，双方将携手举办【第五届东马圣乐节】并隆重呈献贝多芬的《庄严弥撒曲》（Beethoven Missa Solemnis）巡回音乐会。此乃续2017年巴赫《B小调弥撒曲》经典圣乐巡回音乐会之后，原定于2020年演出的事工。然却因新冠病毒疫情肆虐，导致计划被迫推迟。时隔七年，经典圣乐巡回音乐会将重返舞台，并呈献二场音乐会：

• 三月4日：诗巫（卫理公会福源堂）

• 三月5日：民都鲁（Dewan Sri Kenyalang, UPM）

为了高水平呈献这部旷世巨著，大会荣幸地邀请到国际著名的青年指挥家——陈子虔博士领衔指挥，并联手新马杰出的基督徒声乐家——女高音：谢依燕（柔佛）、女中音：许翠珠（新加坡）、男高音：张金龙（吉隆坡）以及低男中音：刘育恩（新加坡），同台演出。乐团首席将由国际著名的小提琴家及交响乐团指挥家——叶凌（沙巴）担任；而音乐会合唱团则是由民都鲁圣歌团、民都鲁少年庆典圣咏团、（诗巫）基拿尼雅圣乐团、（泗里街）亚萨圣乐团以及（美里）蒙恩歌咏团共同组成，并由陈大川受邀出任合唱团指挥。演出阵容约140人，外加影音支援团队等等。

BEETHOVEN MISSA SOLEMNIS  East Malaysia Concert Tour in March

The Bintulu Chinese Christian Music Association (BCCMA) and the Kenaniah Chorale Association (KCA) have joined hands in collaboration to tirelessly enhance the level of sacred music in this region through various training camps and performance activities, diligently promoting and nurturing the local sacred music ministry for nearly two decades.  Especially noteworthy is the triennial event, the "Classic Sacred Music Tour," a unique church music spectacle in East Malaysia.

In March 2024, both organizations will collaboratively host the "5th East Malaysia Sacred Music Festival" and proudly present Beethoven Missa Solemnis in a touring concert.  Following the classic sacred music tour featuring Bach Mass in B Minor in 2017, this tour was originally scheduled for 2020 but had to be postponed due to the ravages of the COVID-19 pandemic.  After a seven-year hiatus, the classic sacred music tour returns to the stage, presenting two concerts:

• March 4th: Masland Methodist Church, Sibu

• March 5th: Dewan Sri Kenyalang, UPM, Bintulu

To present this monumental masterpiece at a high level, the organizers are honoured to invite the internationally renowned young conductor Dr. David Chin to lead the performance.  He will be joined by outstanding Christian vocalists from Malaysia and Singapore, including Soprano Chia Yee Yan (Johor), Mezzo Anna Koor (Singapore), Tenor Solomon Chong (Kuala Lumpur), and Bass Baritone Shawn Liew (Singapore).  The orchestra will be led by internationally acclaimed violinist and symphony conductor Yap Ling (Sabah).  The festival choir is a collaboration of (Bintulu) the BCCMA Singers & Youth Festival Chorale, (Sibu) the Kenaniah Chorale, (Sarikei) the Asaph Chorale, and (Miri) the Blessed Choir, with Okawa Tan serving as the chorus master.  The performance line-up comprises approximately 140 individuals, including audio-visual support teams, among others.
